Capcom Pro Tour 2017 DLC 1

Can we safely say that Capcom is all in on e-sports at this point, and won't be responding to the complaints that single player fans had with Street Fighter V? Probably, because the game continues to bloat in content, but virtually all of it seems aimed at the more competitive players enjoying it online.

Today's new content: Capcom Pro Tour 2017 stuff. It's quite common for games to offer DLC that's used to part-fund tournament kitties now, and the new stuff in the Japanese publisher's popular brawler will be used for exactly that. The new items include a couple of new costumes for Ken and Ryu, as well as an as-of-yet-to-be-revealed outfit and a fresh stage.

Those of you who purchase the Capcom Pro Tour 2017 Premier Pass will get all of the above goods, in addition to two new titles, one new colour for all 28 characters, and monthly in-game targets that will reward you with Fight Money should you complete them. The Premier Pass will set you back an eye-watering $29.99, with 30 per cent of the revenue being added to the Capcom Cup prize pool.

No thanks.
