Danger Zone PS4 PlayStation 4 1

After the decent Dangerous Golf, the co-founders of Burnout creator Criterion are back with Danger Zone, a PlayStation 4 riff on the ever-popular Crash Mode. This is actually Three Fields Entertainment's third title – it also released PlayStation VR shooter Lethal VR last year – and is clearly the project that it's been building up to.

Due out in May on the PlayStation 4, the title will take place in a virtual crash testing facility, where you'll attempt to cause the biggest collisions possible – all in the name of a big leaderboard score. There'll be 20 different scenarios in the game, each with its own unique layout. And as was the case with Crash Mode, you'll be building up meters to initiate explosions and combo your score.

The game will cost $12.99 in North America and £9.99 in the UK, so it's not exactly going to break the bank. Here's hoping it can capture just an ounce of Burnout 3: Takedown's magic, because that really was the pinnacle of Crash Mode as far as we're concerned.
