At this point just about everyone is aware of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt's success, both critically and commercially. It's very much set the bar for role-playing games going forward, but will we ever see another Witcher title now that Geralt's story is over? Developer CD Projekt Red can't seem to give a definitive answer just yet.

The topic was brought up following the studio's latest management meeting and "We like this world a lot. We invested 15 years of our lives in it and a lot of money. So, we'll think about [making a fourth Witcher game]," was its response.

Right now, the developer is hard at work on Gwent: The Witcher Card Game and Cyberpunk 2077, so even if it does return to The Witcher's grim fantasy world, it won't be for a while. Still, we could definitely see it happening down the line; the third game's level of success is surely too difficult to ignore.

Would you be up for another Witcher game, even if Geralt missed out on the action? Hunt some monsters in the comments section below.
