Someone more cynical than this author may try to insinuate that Steep's impending free weekend on the PlayStation Store is a sign of slow sales… Wait a minute. Whatever the reason, Ubisoft has announced that starting Friday, 10th March from 18:00PM UK time, you'll be able to get a taste for the entirety of its winter sports simulation.
The free period will end on Monday, 13th March at 18:00PM UK time but will be accompanied by a limited time 50 per cent sale on the digital version of the release. We rather liked the game in our review, so maybe this is worth checking out.

Just give it on Ps Plus then xD
So how big is the download to play this for the weekend?
I'd never buy it, but a run or 3 down some slopes could be entertaining for 15 minutes.
At least it gives folks a trial period with no obligation.
Cant really argue with that.
I'll be too busy on my date with Aloy!!
yeah we're going to be on a romantic country break hunting snapmaws
Wouldn't be wholly surprised if this eventually went free to play, the microtransaction store is already there to support it and it fits the mediocre reception pattern that often leads to this model in games structured this way.
I don't buy always online games.
I wanted to love it, but its just not very good.
To me it was one of the most surprising and fun games of last year.
Spent hours downloading the Beta version only to find I could not once get to play the game!So no,I won't bother doing it all again. Thanks for the heads up though.
