Mass Effect: Andromeda introduces a new race to BioWare's series: the Angara. Naturally, your perception of these new aliens will be shaped by a member of your squad - namely the rather serious Jaal. I want to be interested in this but I just don't see what all the fuss is about tbh, loved ME1&2 but the 3rd was bang average and this looks like more of the same but prettier
@GlynCR I kind of agree with you! It just seems prettier but too much of the same...I will still enjoy it thou, but people that think this will be GOTY will be disappointed.
I think it's going to be good but it's going to be really hard to top Witcher 3 and Horizon.
Mass Effect is my favorite series ever but I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little worried.
@AFCC don't think it'll be close to game of the year personally Horizon is mine so far and it's going to be very hard to beat that
@GlynCR I can certainly say that my strongest contender is Horizon, despite enjoying Yakuza 0 a bit more (but technically that game is not from 2017).
But yeah, Mass Effect will probably be a contender but not close to the strongest ones...

I've enjoyed exactly one BioWare game, and got bored with it (NWN) but I always thought they looked great for their time.
The graphics and models here are awful.
Everyone is made of rubber and has some kind of mild dwarfism.
