Unlike its predecessor, Star Wars Battlefront 2 will launch with a single player campaign. EA boss Andrew Wilson confirmed the tidbit during an earnings call, adding that the title is not in a galaxy far, far away – it's actually slated to launch this holiday, as expected.
While the executive was understandably coy with his answers, he did note that the release will include content from "multiple Star Wars eras", with both The Force Awakens and Rogue One likely to feature. Hopefully Jar Jar Binks puts in an appearance so we can repeatedly shoot him in his stupid face.
According to Wilson, the game's being worked on by hit factory DICE in conjunction with Jade Raymond's Motive Studios and ex-Burnout developer Criterion. Will you be picking this up – especially now it's promising an all-important single player campaign? Shoot first in the comments section below.
