NieR Automata PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Gagging for NieR: Automata? Of course you are – it's the next must-own PlayStation 4 exclusive after Horizon: Zero Dawn. And it's coming pretty soon: 7th March in North America and 10th March in Europe. But what if we told you there's a way to play it a little bit earlier? Tempting, eh? Well, pull up a pew, because we come bearing good news.

Well, don't get too excited, but it turns out the Japanese release – due out on 23rd February – will have English subtitles. Timezone differences mean that you could technically be playing this one by around 4PM today in the UK. Obviously those of you in America will need to do your own calculations, but you get the idea.

French, Italian, German, and Spanish language support will also be included, so those of you on the continent will be well catered for. Pre-loading is already available on the Japanese PlayStation Store, so if you want to get downloading sharpish, you can do so. And given that the game's just under 48GB in size that's particularly pertinent information.
