Kolin Plays it Cool in Street Fighter V Later This Month

Street Fighter V's next additional character has been revealed, proving that the recent leaks - and copious amounts of speculation - were right. Kolin, who appears in Street Fighter III and in Street Fighter V's downloadable story mode, uses fast jabs, kicks, and, er, icicles to overcome her opponents. She looks like quite an entertaining combatant in the trailer that we've embedded above.

Kolin will be available to either unlock or buy on the 28th February, but will you be chilling with her? Don't go cold in the comments section below.

Robert (or Rob if you're lazy) has been a fan of PlayStation since the 90s, when Tekken 2 introduced him to the incredible world of video games. He still takes his fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true passion. The Witcher, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, he's played 'em all — a little too much, some might say.

Arcade mode?

So I have the game sat on my shelf untouched waiting for arcade mode (😂) - how realistic is it that fighter noobs like me can actually earn enough money to buy these characters in game without opening my wallet again? Is it a massive grind to do so?

Sooner Tekken is here the better!

@Rob_230 You can easily get one or two characters for free. You'll have to play quite a bit for more.

Everything I read/watch about SFV makes me wanna play it, but at the same time it'd be a huge waste of money for me without arcade mode or any other fun single player mode. I get frustrated playing against other players online, because I usually lose, haha. And as fun as it is to play against friends, they're not around all the time, so I need more single player content to enjoy the game. How can a game be so good and so bad at the same time?

@RenanKJ It's really not as bad as you people think... it has a main story and individual character story that gives you plenty to do and unlock. I was able to dl the game and all dlc for less than 60 bucks during the xmas sale which is a steal in my book. My only complaint is that my gf kicks my ass

Going back to usf4, the arcade mode is brilliant. Why they removed for sf5 I will never know.

She looks like a fun character!

@RenanKJ it's really not as bad as people make it seem...there's a fun story mode, individual short story prologues for all the characters, survival mode, characters trials and demonstrations and weekly missions (4 on Fridays + 1 on Mondays and Wednesdays).

Didnt know what to expect. I think she looks really fun. Seems to have pretty unique moves and play style. Im excited. I REALLY want to see these other new characters though.
