Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has remained at the top of the Japanese software charts, selling a further 52,665 copies on PlayStation 4. The horror title has almost hit the quarter of a million mark now, and it'll likely surpass that goal this week. It's not the kind of number worth screaming about, but it's a reasonably healthy return for Capcom's latest venture.
The only new PlayStation entry in the top 20 was Naruto Storm 4: Road to Boruto's physical edition, which leapt into sixth place with 9204 copies sold. Not impressive in the least, but we imagine that most buyers will have nabbed the expansion digitally from the PlayStation Store.
Despite the lack of fresh releases, however, the PS4 didn't drop too many units, once again hovering around that 30,000 mark at the top of the hardware charts.

Thx 4 posting these numbers. Very interesting.
Gravity Rush 2 numbers seem somewhat dissapointing. Perhaps it would've done better on Vita (or on both)? After all, I dont suppose it would sell a huge amount on either console in the west, whereas in Japan surely it would've sold substantially more on the vita...
@TXP But then the game wouldn't what it is if it was on Vita. I think the franchise was too ambitious for the platform in the end.
The PS3 outsold the X-Box One... Japan doesn't care about X-Box whatsoever.
GTA V doing numbers in Japan as well.
@TXP
It's disappointing more people aren't giving it a chance but timing also didn't help. RE 7's presence overshadows it and it also doesn't help that, as great as GR 2 is, RE 7 is quite a bit better.
How long until Wii U is selling less than PS3?
