There are some great costumes in Gravity Rush 2, but this Phantasy Star Online 2-themed outfit is surely Kat's craziest yet. Inspired by the sequel to SEGA's popular MMO, the get-up comes equipped with shields and a figure hugging basque, as well as some big futuristic boots.
The bad news is that this appears to be exclusive to Japan now, with no word on the costume being made available overseas. Seeing as this is a promotional piece for a game unavailable in Europe and North America, you probably shouldn't hold your breath for a Western release.
Update: Good news, director Keiichiro Toyama has revealed on Twitter that the Phantasy Star Online 2 costume will make its way to the West eventually.

Im getting tired of this japanese games getting half asse localizations because of licensing. The same goes for senran kagura and The whole ikkitousen dlc not available on the west.
Darn, I was hoping his article was confirming it was out in the West. I remember this costume being announced a while back but guess it hadn't been released yet... It's free dlc in Japan, how hard could it be to release it elsewhere?
At first I saw MAG and thought about the best FPS ever, MAG. Then I saw PSO and thought maybe it was finally coming west... then I saw it's just a GR2 costume
Dammit Sega, you localized Yakuza, Valkyria, and even Puyo Puyo Tetris, but not Phantasy Star Online 2? Atleast bring Phantasy Star Nova to the west for the PS4, PC and even XBO. I swear, I think even Capcom is improving slightly with their localization since they stated that they are thinking on bringing Dragon's Dogma Online overseas.

I usually stick with the default attire but I've been swapping between the Kat Suit and the Red Apple costume.
Bit annoying that Kat has the default gear on during cut scenes. Hope they can patch that.
My only critic with the game.
I guess this is the closest we'll ever get to having anything to do with phantasy star here in the west.
Are there sidequest to get the costume or we can just download it.

@SoulsBourne128 I think Phantasy Star Online 2 is tough to translate as its an MMORPG but that's just my two cents.
@get2sammyb Ok, I thought there's some story for the costume like in the first game dlc.
@AlphaJaguar the SEA version of phantasy star on PC was completely in English. Once people from the west caught on they got IP blocked. :/
@LukeNI That's outright insulting. No wonder people are angry about the localisation of this game.
