For Honor's open beta weekend is now live on PlayStation 4, and lasts until Sunday night. The beta's been available to pre-load since earlier this week, but if you didn't get a chance to start the download, it's worth noting that it weighs in at around 20GB.
As we've mentioned before, Ubisoft isn't sending out early review copies of For Honor. As such, we won't have a review before the game launches on the 14th February, so this open beta will be your best bet at forming an opinion on the release before the final product hits the market.
Will you be cleaving your way into the beta this weekend? Let out a war cry in the comments section below.

It's very pretty but extremely meh in gameplay for me. I will be taking a pass on this one.
I'd like to try it out. I've watched some videos and there looked to be some cheese moves with certain weapons and characters that were near impossible to beat. Hopefully those things will get tweaked as the game rolls forward like most PvP type games.
20GB?! GREAT SCOTT!
It's not really one I have been interested in but thought I'd try it anyway and have to say I was pretty impressed.Loved the battle system but the trouble is..I'm cr*p at it..like most multiplayer games.I may have another go but it's taking up valuable space and I doubt I'll buy this so probably not much point..
Loving it so far. Will be picking this one up in a few days.
@starhops the Vanguard characters are all pretty well balanced.
My only personal issue is the reach certain Samurai have which appears to extend beyond the actual weapon.
As far as Ive noticed, its pretty well balanced in the fundamentals, Viking Vanguard packs a punch but lacks speed, Samurai is almost the opposite.
Time will tell.
