Yooka-Laylee's shaping up to be something special, isn't it? The upcoming PlayStation 4 platformer isn't exactly breaking new ground, but it's been so long since we've played a Banjo-Kazooie-esque sandbox romp that we can't wait to take Playtonic's love letter for a spin. And it just keeps getting bigger and better, too.

Team 17 has announced today that the release will feature a handful of minigames which you'll be able to play in Rextro's Arcade. These range from races to rails shooters, all of which you'll be able to enjoy solo or in multiplayer. If you perform particularly well across the eight arcade games, there may be some Pagies up for grabs, too.

And that's not all: a second player will be able to pick up the pad and engross themselves in the rest of the adventure by taking control of the Bee Team. As an active participant in the action, the Bee Team will be able to collect quills and store up butterflies for when Yooka and Laylee need a health boost. You'll be able to test all of these features out from 11th April.
