The final chapter in The Banner Saga is supposedly launching in late 2018, but before developer Stoic can start thinking about pushing The Banner Saga 3 onto the PlayStation Store, it's going to need a bit of help from its fans. As with the studio's previous games, it's taken to Kickstarter in order to help fund its project.

Stoic is asking for $200,000, and at the time of writing, $23,278 has been pledged. However, backer rewards don't specifically mention a PS4 copy of the game, so if you decide to help fund the release, that's something to keep in mind. With both of the previous titles available on Sony's current-gen console, though, we have to imagine that this third episode will also be making the jump once everything's sorted.
