In a recent question and answer session over on Facebook, the NieR: Automata team responded to a bunch of frequently asked questions, giving way to a load of juicy gossip. To start with, producer Yosuke Saito is asked whether the original NieR will ever be remastered for current-gen consoles. Perhaps surprisingly, Saito doesn't say no - instead pointing out that if Automata sells really well, and there's a definite demand for the first game to be re-released, there's a chance it'll be made. It sounds reasonably unlikely, then, but still, there's hope.

Next up, Saito spills the beans on how long the release takes to finish. To get the 'true' ending - yes, Automata will have multiple endings - you'll be playing for around 25 hours. 100 per cent completion, however, will apparently run you closer to 55-60 hours, so there's clearly a lot of content stuffed away outside of the main story.

Does all of this sound good to you? Would you play a remastered NieR? Dare to dream in the comments section below.
