Although Final Fantasy XV's soundtrack doesn't quite measure up to the classics - as far as we're concerned, anyway - it's still a darn good listen, especially with that boss theme thrown into the mix. Yeah, you know the one. Anyway, a physical edition of the soundtrack, spread across four discs, has been available to buy in Japan since last year, but now Sony Classical is bringing it overseas.
According to Amazon.de, the soundtrack is due to release on the 2nd February, while Amazon US has it down for the 10th March. What are your thoughts on Final Fantasy XV's music? Did its score hit the spot? Hum your favourite arrangement in the comments section below.

When I think about the FFXV soundtrack, I can only remember about three tracks: the one when you wander around the countryside, the one at Hammerhead with its Western twang, and the one from the final sections of the game. That's it. The rest in my mind was made up of old classics from previous games played on the car stereo.
The new layout of this site is alot more confusing.
I thought the battle theme was fantastic.
There are one or two great songs, and nothing particularly offensive overall but it's the weakest entry in the series as far as the OST goes in my mind.
I really loved XV'S OST - Possibly one of my favourite from the whole series...and I know I not the only one. Will pe picking this up!
I LOVED this OST! It's my first time playing a FF though so I haven't heard the other soundtracks. How much is this gonna be?
@Feena That's suprising - it's really not a bad OST at all but I can't rate it next to some of the classics. All the outpost music was the same, which was a missed opportunity I thought, plus the world map music wasn't a patch on the likes of 6,7 and 9. Still, a couple of the songs were great for sure!
I hope prompto beatboxing is on the disc, accompanied by intermittent screams of "enemies above us". Good memories.
@kyleforrester87 Ah, I loved the "Wanderlust" track that plays when you're exploring, it really conveys a sense on wonder and exploration but tbh I generally really dig Shimomura's jazzy rock tracks (big Street Fighter fan here) and her iridescent piano punctuating the melodies.
I think the mixing does not do the tracks justice though,as they are pretty muffled in the game (had to manually turn BGM higher to make them more prominent but still...)
Standouts for me were:
