Crash Bandicoot is back, baby, and he looks... well, he looks better than ever, to be honest. Sony unveiled the first gameplay trailer for the remastered original trilogy of Crash titles at its PlayStation Experience 2016 press conference, and from where we're sitting, they look more like remakes than your standard remasters.
Dubbed Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, the visuals appear to have been enhanced from the ground up, even though the actual structure of the games seems to be exactly as you remember it. The trilogy is coming to the PlayStation 4 in 2017.

It looks lovely. In every sense of the word. Now if we could only get a release date.
It looks great, the playstation experience announcements were brilliant well worth watching
I don't want it.............
I NEED IT!
This is exactly what I was hoping for. Excuse me while I go hug my PS4 and say thank you to Sony.
as long as the first game has a proper save function this time them i'll be happy (honestly the way you save in the original was bad)
Can't wait!!!
wow it looks like a completely new game tbh
Anyone else not a fan of how Crash looks in these remakes? Everything else looks fantastic, but I hope this is more than just better looking versions of the games. While I like how faithful these remakes are to the originals, I do hope they at least fix some of the issues with the first game because it does not hold up well.
Finaly!!
And some thought that at E3 it was a rushed announcment.
Game looks awesome!
oh wow i feel 16 all over again
@Xaessya Hope she gets fat again lol
Remake. Remaster. Same difference. Looks awesome either way.
wumpa fruit
Perfect, along with knack, to teach the next generation the fundamentals of platforming. Definitely must buy, for the good of my kids
Looking good, Crash is back.
Needs more Coco, but despite that it looks great. I like remasters/remakes of very old games and these are among my favourite PS1 games.
I want this now!
I agree with those saying that Crash himself looks slightly off, but overall this is looking mighty impressive. So cool to see it in action.
Relieved that they didn't go for the Skylanders character model. Looks good, lot of nostalgia there. Excited.
They'd have to be. The PS1 games are ancient at this point and look like dog meat. It's about what I'd expect from a really extensive remaster. Hope they touch up the physics and vehicle handling in Warped as well (seriously, that motorcycle was hell).
@Xaessya lol Just got finished introducing a couple of my friends to that show. I imagine there are all sorts of GIFs you could make from her depraved facial expressions.
I feel like I'm 5 years old again. I've been waiting for Crash to show up, and I didn't think I'd see it until E3, but here's Crash, and I'm not disappointed.
Granted, the gameplay doesn't look any different from the original games and it shows, but the graphics and presentation is overhauled quite a bit. I'm happy with that. I didn't think Crash was gonna come back at all, this just made my lifetime.
@Storytime7 They stuck to the original design, but threw on a fresh coat of HD paint, what's not to like?
It's great, better than I hope. Excited to play this, parappa and wipeout. With ps4 classic theme of course
Man this conference take me back to good old day of ps1 era..
Update: it's only $40 in psn!! Nice, I thought it will be a full priced game, definitly getting this game at launch. What's not nice is it will be released in 1 full year on dec 2017, I want it now..
