Wow, we bet that none of you saw this coming! After providing the stunning closing trailer for Sony's PlayStation Experience 2016 press conference, The Last of Us: Part II was always going to be the game to beat when it came to deciding our Game of the Show. The reveal was, naturally, another masterclass from Naughty Dog - a developer that just can't seem to put a foot wrong these days.
Over the weekend, we asked you lot to vote on Push Square's PSX 2016 Game of the Show. Around 200 of you took part, and although almost every title on our list of twenty nominees got at least one vote, nothing came close to stopping The Last of Us: Part II from walking away with the award.
The sequel commanded a huge 39 per cent of the vote, with only Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom making it to 10 per cent or higher. Still, the fact that so many games got some degree of support shows just how diverse PlayStation's library is - and just how packed with variety Sony's showcase was.
All that's left to say is congratulations to The Last of Us: Part II. We can't wait to see more over the coming months.

So much good stuff but nothing that floored me - I'd have to go with Wipeout or Crash I think
That and Crash for me, in all honesty PSX was filled with brilliant game reveals.
Was there any gameplay or demos of TLOU2? Find it strange for a game to win a 'best of' solely on a trailer.
@stevejcrow Well you lot voted for it!
@get2sammyb the people are...fickle, sire.
@get2sammyb It wasn't a criticism, more an observation. I'm sure it will be a good game but with so little to go on, I'd have probably voted for a more complete title. Though have enough games at the minute so avoiding adding anymore to the list!
I voted for Crash but hardly surprised TLOU 2 won.Very predictable..
Sony was smart to cap off and book end PSX with Naughty Dog. I voted for Knack 2 for like, but honestly Horizon would be my game of the show.
It ain't no Windjammers.
It was a great showing for everyone, particularly Naughty Dog. I voted for Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, because it's closer and had some actual gameplay. If they had shown a gameplay segment, The Last of Us Part II would've more than likely been the Game of the Show for me as well. Yakuza 6, Gravity Rush 2, Resident Evil VII and Horizon are also up there. Definitely lots of variety, lots to look forward to.
Cant believe this beat Knack 2
@stevejcrow I know what you mean about it not having any gameplay to show but nearly all the games shown at the PSX conference were just trailers
Ponies are madly in love with Naughty Dog, so no surprise there.
That's OK, though. We got a ton of non-ND stuff, too. PSX was probably better than E3 this year.
My game of the show is crash bandicoot, parappa and wipeout. It's amazing that 3 of best games on psx 2016 is made by naughty dog.
Crash was my game of the show. For one day, I was 5 again.
I still haven't played Last of Us. I wouldn't have a problem picking it up on PS3 if there wasn't a better version on PS4.
@DerMeister I haven't got around to playing the TLOU remaster, but honestly, if you don't have a PS4 yet the PS3 version punched so far above its weight graphically I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say you'd think you were playing on a 4 anyway.
@PaperyWhiteBoy lol Alright then. I'll probably get it if I don't get a PS4 soon. I think at this point It's better to just experience the game regardless of system.
