Eager to join a few PlayStation 4 communities but can't be arsed sifting through all the menus on your console? Well no worries, because Sony's got your back with a new PlayStation Communities app that's just released on iOS and Android devices.
The app has full community functionality, allowing you to browse groups, join them, send messages, send images, and generally just fiddle around with the PS4's networking feature. Of course, the app's free to download as well, so there's no harm in giving it a go.
Will you be making use of this? Keep up to date with your mates in the comments section below.

Couldn't care less, personally. I'm a rather antisocial gamer, haha!
So... 3rd app to connect to the same system? Meh..
I welcomed communities when they first arrived but some things irritate me about them. Someone posts an image you view it then you have to go all the way back to the top of the message list. Which on a community with 10,000 members with messages is a nightmare. There are no official communities for games only ones which have been created by players. Official communties for games would be a good way to feedback to developers and for them to give out information. I use them to find people to game with but there are a lot of useless communities out there. This is not an app I would use.
I'll use it. easier to type on the phone than the ps4
Shame we can't synch the website forums with the communities in some fashion.
Oh my gawd, what the F, 3 apps? Get out now.
Having tried it, gotta say I like it. Will definitely increase usage of the community.
