With Mass Effect: Andromeda due to launch in the spring next year, it comes as no real surprise to hear that BioWare's entirely new project won't be officially revealed for quite some time. In an interview with Game Informer, studio manager Aaryn Flynn says "we're not going to talk about it until we're confident about what it's going to be and everything," hinting that whatever the new property is, it's not exactly close to being ready. "Hopefully you'll hear more about that once Andromeda's done and we've satisfied fans with that game," he adds.

Flynn also mentions that the new project won't stray from what the Canadian developer is widely known for: telling stories. "What we said was we're BioWare, so we have a certain kind of game that we love making and we know our fans would love, so we started with that and that's a game that has as its heart stories and storytelling. So we decided we're going to stick with that. We're not just going to walk away from that," he explains. You can probably expect dialogue options and branching narratives, then - at least in some form.
