It looks like Sony may have secured the biggest marketing partnership since Grand Theft Auto V, as the platform holder has plastered the PlayStation Blog and its social media channels with Red Dead Redemption 2 artwork and imagery. The platform holder typically reserves these slots for either major first-party releases, or titles that it's working to promote – like Call of Duty and Watch Dogs.
The manufacturer has always had a very strong relationship with Rockstar, most recently working with the label on its aforementioned crime caper. If it were to have the rights to promote its forthcoming Western as well, then that would be a major coup – especially if it's able to come up with some reasonably priced PS4 Pro bundles in time for the 2017 holidays.

Have they announced a delay to 2018 yet?
Maybe we can set up a pool for the delay announcement, I'll take March 18th.

But xbox are marketing it too o.O
This game is going to make a lot of money...
This game announced too early, it will be way cooler if rockstar announced this game at e3 2017 and launch it fall 2017.
@wiiware - They probably just wanted to get a head of the inevitable leaks. The internet has ruined surprises.
