It feels like an eternity has passed since we last heard anything about Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. The incredibly pretty role-playing game was revealed during last year's PlayStation Experience, and we've heard absolutely nothing about the release since.
Fortunately, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino has at least confirmed that the Japanese developer hasn't forgotten about the title. Speaking to Vandal, Hino dishes out some fresh information regarding the game, revealing that it actually has some sort of kingdom building system: "From the fact alone that we moved from PlayStation 3 to PlayStation 4, it will not be a simple RPG, and will introduce a new system focused on creating a kingdom." Sounds like it could be fun.
With PlayStation Experience 2016 fast approaching, we like to imagine that Ni no Kuni II will put in an appearance. A new trailer and a release date would do nicely, we reckon.

Yessss, I'm ready to hear more.
Would love a remaster of the original on PS4, dat Ghibli art in 4K. Mmmm.
Im sooooo hyped
NNK was the most beautiful and probably the best JRPG I played on PS3 so I am stocked for this one to come out. I really bonded with Oliver so I'm a bit skeptical for this new protagonist...the game surely looks beautiful though and I hope the semi-turn based battle system and the monster hunting is still in.
"I want to make a kingdom where everyone is happy"
Every time I see this I keep having Game of Thrones flash backs ;-;
Please release a remaster of the first never played it but it looks like fun. I have been buying almost all the remasters from last gen because i was busy to play thoses games and sold most of my ps3 collection to get a ps4.
Can't wait for this. Loved the first. Day one!
I hope it isn't as forced as the settlement building in Dark Cloud 2. I don't want to play the main story and then hit an invisible wall, because I didn't relocate X to Y & put a fence around his house...
They could at least give us a year they expect to release in... Looking forward to this one so much!
The first one was the closest to a jrpg masterpiece we got last gen, so definitely hyped!
Day one!
I feel like this one could be a ways off yet.
Trying to temper my expectations in case it's one of those late 2018 early 2019 titles.
