Tekken has always been a satisfying series to play, but Tekken 7 seems to be taking its specific brand of silky smooth brutality to the next level. The brawler's got a new trailer hot from the Tokyo Game Show, and it covers just about everything that you need to know, from the title's story - which involves Akuma of Street Fighter fame - to the newly introduced rage art attacks.
We were hoping that the fantastic looking fighter would get a confirmed launch date during the Japanese event, but that sadly didn't happen. All that we know right now is that it's supposed to be coming to PlayStation 4 in early 2017.

A friend tells me the last week of February is the closest we have for a date. I can't find a source for the life of me, but I would say that's on the dot. It's been in arcades for a while now, we're due for a console release sometime soon.

Must admit, I haven't been this excited for a fighting game in a long time. Tekken 7 really does look superb based on what I've seen.

Yeah it's all about Soul Blade/Calibur for me too! Tekken is great too, though.
