Wow, and we thought Horizon: Zero Dawn already looked stunning. During its PlayStation Meeting press conference earlier today, Sony showed off some brand new footage of Guerrilla Games' highly anticipated exclusive running on the newly announced PlayStation 4 Pro. The supercharged console allows for more detailed environments, and a better use of realistic colour. Unsurprisingly, it looks bloody lovely.
Horizon is still slated for release in February and March in North America and Europe respectively, and it'll naturally support the PS4 Pro at launch. After all, If anyone can show the graphical capabilities of new hardware, it's Guerrilla Games.
How hyped are you for Horizon? Grab some explosive arrows and bring down some dinobots in the comments section below.

I have my limited edition pre-ordered and now have my PS4 Pro pre-ordered too...
I need this.. Looks gorgeous, not sure whether I'm getting the Pro or not. Would like to see some side by side comparison of this trailer.
Just watched the 4k version - WOW can't wait to play it in HDR as I can see where it will work incredibly well...
Now I just need a 4K tv...
more than happy with how it looked on ps4, and so long as its stable 30fps, the experience will be fine for me. pro isn't going to fundamentally alter the game experience imo i've had it on pre-order since it was announced.
@BAMozzy How did you manage to watch the 4K version. I have a 4K smart tv and my YouTube hasn't got resolution options like the YouTube app does?
Pro or not this game is gorgeous but more importantly seems to be shaping up to be a damn fine game to play.
Is her hair alive or something?
Looks amazing. I've got this one pre-ordered.
@itshoggie Does look a bit like tentacles at times doesn't it?
Already have the limited edition preordered. Edit: You can choose 60 fps in youtube, does that mean the game will be 60 fps on ps pro? Sweet!!
Highlight of the show for me, wish I could see the footage in 4k on a proper display to get an idea of how the PS4 Pro will actually look if I get a better TV. Think that would sell it to me for sure, but either way this game looks incredible.
@blakey78 My TV, with the latest Tizen OS, displays youtube in 4k - it shows the video in the highest resolution possible and (I believe) you need the VP9 codecs to watch in 4k too...
@itshoggie This sounds really shallow but that is ALL I thought the whole way through the demo. I thought it looked like the beard of Davey Jones in Pirates of the Caribbean 2.
So - screw you non-PS4 Pro owners ... ?
@ShogunRok @Rudy_Manchego yeah it's very off putting, I know it's only a minor thing but it would annoy me watching that for the whole game.
@BAMozzy Mine's a 2014 model so I don't even have HDR. I have started looking into costs for a HDR TV though and found a 49" lg HDR 4k for £499. I've got PSVR pre-ordered though so that takes precedence over PS4 pro in 2nd, then, eventually, a HDR TV. I love tech but I'm not a high earner due to a disability and being a single dad of two. I am good with the money we get though so this time next year I should have all three that I've listed. As for watching this video in 4K, I'll have to use YouTube 4K downloader and watch it via HDD.
@Shigmin The game will still look very good on a normal ps4.
@blakey78 I too am disabled and very good with money too. I don't have many overheads (no car, no mobile), don't drink alcohol, barely eat and never go out anywhere which is why I can save to buy things like a new TV or Console. The Only 'new' game I have bought this year has been Uncharted 4 so far as I have been saving for 'Neo' and bought my TV.
Its a 2016 Samsung and so has the ability to show 4k Youtube video's but I tend to watch youtube on my laptop generally as its so much easier to use - but it can't show 4k.
Horizon 4k on my TV though looks incredible and knowing what HDR can bring, I expect that it will be amazing for Horizon. Games like Infamous, with the 'powers' really will be great in HDR so Horizon, with the hacking, the sun and things like that will look spectacular.
I am disappointed the Pro wont have a 4k HDR Player but I can see the potential it has for gaming and that excites me a lot more...
@Moeblob You're probably right. I suppose you'd really need a 4K tv with decent HDR capability to actually notice the difference.
