No Man's Sky is a game all about busy work, but if you can't be arsed with all that incessant toing and froing, then cunning gamers have concocted an exploit that will get you to the centre of the universe much, much, much quicker than you ever imagined. Of course, this could also spoil the game for you, so read on at your own peril.
Essentially, you need high-level items like Atlas Stones and Warp Cells to reach the centre of the universe, and there's a way to duplicate them. All you need to do is put all of the items you want to multiply into your ship's inventory, save, then die. When you respawn, load the save that you made before you died, and your inventory will be replenished, but your grave will still be out in space, enabling you to double down on every item that you need. Rinse and repeat, and you'll have more than enough gear to get you deep into the galaxy in no time.
We're pretty confident that this will be patched before you can blink, but if you're finding the game a bit tedious and are looking for a bit of a jump-start, then this really does work. Will you be taking advantage of this glitch, or are you planning to play purely? Speed up your journey in the comments section below.

A true Gamer does not cheat.
"We're pretty confident that this will be patched before you can blink"
I hope it is :/ that's pretty game breaking.
Exploits like this get out, then people use the exploit, then moan about there being nothing to do. It's a cycle that's become oh so familiar in recent years. So no, I'll be plodding along as the devs intended methinks.
Why would you want to spoil the adventure? Instant gratification is such a 21st century disease...
@Neolit "it's only game breaking if you willingly exploit it"
Thing is people are going to exploit it, that's guaranteed unfortunately.
How did this not get picked up in the testing stage?
Even that is one grind too far for me.
The game should be called 'Star Grind.' "To boldy grind where no man has ground before."
Theme music
Grind ded ded - ded ded ded - ded deeeed.
I certainly won't be doing this, what's the point in ruining my own sense of discovery. I'm far too busy in my current sector mining and trying to find all the lifeforms for this
First the Atlas waypoint glitch, then the preorder ship glitch, then this... I wonder how HG didn't catch any of this stuff. The preorder ship glitch has already cost me multiple hours.
I think for the most part, a huge amount of players won't be doing this. A large portion of players waited so long to experience the game in the way it was intended. Of course there are those few that just want to do it, because it is easier and need things now.
