Gamescom PS4 PlayStation 4 1

It's going to be a strange Gamescom yet again. Last year's show was disappointing for us because Sony opted to hold its press conference at Paris Games Week instead, while this time it's skipping its usual stage show in favour of a PlayStation Meeting in early September. Of course, the platform holder will still be in attendance at the gigantic European show, and on the German PlayStation Blog it's announced the full roster of software that it will be bringing to Cologne.

Basically, it's showing off all of the heavy hitters: Resident Evil 7, Gran Turismo Sport, Titanfall 2, and Destiny: Rise of Iron. PlayStation VR will clearly be consuming a big portion of its booth as well, with the likes of BattleZone, Batman: Arkham VR, and Farpoint all in attendance, too. And that's not all: the platform holder will also be showing off video footage from Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, and more. We've included the full list of software below.

Gamescom will run from 17th August to 21st August, and we'll of course bring you all of the headlines.
