Hands up all of you who remember Sudden Strike, the real-time tactics series that was last seen on PC about six years ago. One of you? Well, it's making a comeback on the PlayStation 4 in 2017, with Tropico publisher Kalypso handling the publishing. Sudden Strike 4 will be developed by Hungarian developer Kite Games, and is due out on Sony's new-gen system next year.

Expect sprawling World War II battlefields with hundreds of units for you to control across three different campaigns featuring the British, American, German, and Soviet troops. There'll even be individual commanders for you to assume the role of, such as George Patton and Bernard Montgomery.

There's a trailer embedded above. Given the real dearth of strategy games on the PS4, this might just occupy a void – assuming that Kite Games can come up with a decent control scheme on the DualShock 4 controller.
