No Man's Sky has changed enormously prior to launch, but it's only going to get bigger and bigger. Writing on the game's official website, Hello Games founder Sean Murray has revealed that the Guildford-based developer has plenty more in the pipeline, including the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters in future updates.

"This universe we've built is a pretty large canvas, we've got a lot of ideas," he explained. "This is the type of game that we want to be." Other improvements on the way include temporal anti-aliasing and new cloud rendering technology. "It will really change the game again, and enhance it visually," he promised.

If you missed the details on the title's frankly gigantic day one patch, then you can read about that through here.
