Apparently, publisher's don't announce complete editions any more - they just wait until every online retailer under the sun has leaked it for them. Following on from last month's supposed Amazon leak, Metal Gear Solid V: Definitive has popped up once again, this time via Dell's online store.
However, just like last time, there's no real information to be gleaned from the product listing aside from a potential release date: 11th October 2016. A price tag of $50 is also attached.
At this point, we think that it's reasonably fair to assume that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is getting some sort of Game of the Year special complete ultimate edition, but what the actual package will contain is still totally up for debate.

i had the original release, then sold it a few days later
as a game it was ok but it was NO Metal Gear
but if they have improved it i might pick this version up, then again this is Konami so they probably did nothing but remove all references to Kojima from it
@FullbringIchigo I feel the same way about it. It's fine gameplay wise, but misses a lot of the elements I and others loved about the series
I agree with the chaps above about this not feeling like a traditional Metal Gear game. I prefer a more linear told story in this series like the amazing Snake Eater.
@ApostateMage if you want a linear story ignore the side missions.
@Grawlog I wouldn't skip it mate, the games brilliant.
I dont get all the 'its not REAL mgs' comments. Its still mgs as far as I'm concerned, the story is great, the characters are boss and the gameplay is amazing. There's more here for everyone, mgs 3 is one of my favourite games and the Easter eggs relating to that game are refreshing and really well done in PP.
I'm unsure what extra content there is; maybe chapter 3?
Love the game but come on thered gotta be more in this edition than a few costumes and multiplayer dlc?
I used one of Konami's slot machines at a Casino a few weeks back (went to see a Jerry Seinfeld performance)...I hate that they've stopped making ACTUAL games to focus on THAT garbage. I'll guess we'll always have to wonder what MGSV coulda been had things been different.
It's honestly pointless, unless everything that was scrapped is included in the package, which I highly doubt it is.
What could this edition possible have?
.
Practically no new content was put out for this game. Online crap don't count
The regular version cost me $40 and is unplayable because of the image blur evey time i move or move the camera. So unless this version has the blurry image fixed and can be swapped for my copy i have no interest in anything MG5.
Also the out or fucus depth of field needs an option to disable. It's 3rd person and getting all blurry when i aim just ruins it and is weird. Geez, just stop it with all of this motion blur and depth of field tricks. I hate the look, my eyes hate continuing to try to focus the blur, and it makes my eyes hurt.
So... this for real?... or really not.
VR missions? Ocelot Tales? Monkey mode? Virtual range?
@NoCode23. I've had this game for months and literally just installed it yesterday but I have not played it yet ..your the 1st person to mention this..I'll keep an eye on that
