Dead Rising Finally Makes Its PS4 Debut Next Month

Dead Rising has a spotty history on PlayStation platforms, with the original game famously skipping the PlayStation 3 entirely. But it will finally debut on the PlayStation 4 next month, as Capcom has confirmed that the new-gen port of the 2006 title – alongside sequel Dead Rising 2 and spin-off Dead Rising: Off the Record – will launch digitally on 13th September in Europe and North America.

You'll be able to purchase each instalment individually for £15.99/$19.99, or purchase them as a triple pack for £39.99/$54.99. Alternatively, if you pre-order starting today from the North American PlayStation Store, then you'll be able to get all three games for $49.99, so you may want to take advantage of that if you're – ahem – dying to play all of these titles.

If that's not enough information for you, there'll be retail versions of Dead Rising and Dead Rising 2 available in North America from 13th September and 27th September respectively.
