Going for gold

We wondered when the Rio 2016 Olympic Games were going to cameo in a game – and we're not referring to a certain potty-mouthed Wii U release. Overwatch looks like it's going to be the first, however, as Blizzard's sent a bunch of YouTubers and Twitch streamers packages featuring the shooter's cast of characters in sports gear. A summer games loot box has also been spotted on the PlayStation Store, which was screen grabbed by the ever-alert NeoGAF.

According to the listing, there are more than 90 Summer Games items to collect, but they'll only be available for a limited time in specially marked loot boxes. You'll be able to earn these in-game through 22nd August, or you'll be able to purchase packs. As with normal loot boxes, if you get a duplicate, you'll receive some credits to spend – however, you won't be able to purchase Summer Games items separately.

As you can see in the embedded picture, there will definitely be new skins for Tracer, Zarya, and Lucio – but it's currently not clear whether other heroes will get the same treatment.
