DOOM has managed to retain its place at the top of the UK software charts, much to the disappointment of FIFA 16, which, we imagine in part thanks to Euro 2016, has been steadily moving towards the summit. Sales of id Software's shooter actually declined rather sharply, but the drop wasn't enough to knock the game from its impressive position.

Fellow first person foray Overwatch wasn't so lucky, however, as Blizzard's latest fell from second to fourth, while PlayStation 4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief's End managed to hang on in third - although once again, Naughty Dog's superb adventure was the best selling individual game. Elsewhere, the physical launch of PlayStation Network super hit Rocket League catapulted the addictive little title into sixth, while Ratchet & Clank enjoyed a jump back into the top ten. All in all, another solid week for Sony.
