PlayStation 4 mod support for Fallout 4 has fallen foul of another setback today as Bethesda has revealed that the incoming mods beta on Sony's console has been delayed. Naturally, we assume this means that actual mod functionality - which was supposedly going to be in place relatively soon - will now be pushed back.
It's also worth remembering that in May, the developer said that mod support would be heading to PS4 in June, but obviously, that never happened. "We will update everyone when we can," states Bethesda's latest post on Twitter, but no specific time frame has been given. The wait continues, eh?

If Skyrim Remastered doesn't work right on PS4 I'm going to be so mad...
No problems on XBO with mods as far as I know. Seems to be a memory problem.
I'm still (very casually) working on my plat so no worries as I can't install mods until it pings. I'm very much looking forward to mods coming to the system, obviously. For many years now I've felt left out because Skyrim and FO3 were so much better on PC than on my obsidian George Foreman grill.
I wonder how they're dealing with mods on the Skyrim remaster...
I will never buy Bethesda games on release it's a bugfest everything. I will wait for a GOTY edition.
Glad I got this on PC. Even if mods come to PS4, we still wouldn't get fun adult mods.

It must be seriously borked if they are delaying it. Coz, ya know. They'll release pretty much anything.
I'm thinking people should avoid these mods if they do become available. If Bethesda is having this much trouble (unsurprising, it's Bethesda), I can imagine a few consoles getting bricked. They say they test and certify them, but they probably said the same thing about Far Harbor. Dodgy
I really just want mods to correct some of the bizarre choices Bethesda made. Like which clothing and hats can have ballistic weave applied to them. I also really want legendaries to be treated like enchantments were in Skyrim.
@ShadowofSparta It is impossible for a console to be bricked by a mod even on pc that's impossible unless the mod have some malware witch they wont because they are scanned when uploaded
