Resident Evil 7 popped up as a surprise during Sony's E3 2016 press conference yesterday, but the really good news is that you can play it right now. Capcom's released a demo exclusively for PlayStation Plus subscribers which is available for free from the PlayStation Store, and pads out some of the story from the Kitchen PlayStation VR demo released last year.
The full game is, of course, due out on 24th January – and as previously reported, will be playable from start-to-finish in virtual reality. You can pre-order the full game from the PlayStation Store right now, and you'll get a theme for your troubles, as well as the "Survival Pack", which includes various in-game items and immediate access to the title's hardest difficulty mode.

Last time a demo like this was released, the game was cancelled and the director was sacked. And er, I'm sure there was a punchline there somewhere..

Whatever. I'll be trying it tonight. I doubt it'll be as good as P.T., but if it's good enough, I'll definitely be getting RE7 at launch.
The Lego demo is also live @get2sammyb in the UK, that is. I assume it's on the US PSN too. I found it on the game information, it wasn't in the demo section. I've got it and Resi downloading whilst I'm out and about today
@Mrskinner played it too, but apparently you can play it multiple times and different thing start happening .. i saw some footage 20 min ago of a guy getting chased but a man with an axe or something like that. didn't catch all that, because i instantly got the reflex to close my eyes (from being spoiled).
I'll be playing the rest of the demo tonight x) scary things might happen

I would love if they left the subtitle Biohazard (Japanese title) from now on! It sounds great. The logo with Roman numerals is awesome, too. Wow I'm so hyped about this and I'm almost never hyped these days.
