Buried under everything else that Bethesda revealed during its E3 2016 press conference early this morning, fans of The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited will want to wrap their heads around a huge change that's coming to the game later this year.
Put simply, ZeniMax Online Studios is going to be removing fixed enemy levels. Previously, if you ventured beyond your current area into a location that was full of higher level foes, you'd probably be killed with ease - thus limiting exploration to some degree, at least until you levelled up enough. Once "One Tamriel" is implemented, though, enemy levels will scale, allowing all players to roam any area that they wish.
That's just one piece of the puzzle, though. Along with the scaling, you'll also be able to explore the entirety of the title's world, regardless of which faction you're a part of. Not bad, eh?
Are you still playing The Elder Scrolls Online? Are you looking forward to this significant tweak? Relive the title's life so far via the trailer that we've embedded, and don't bother grinding in the comments section below.

That is awesome! My biggest problem with the game was being limited to 1/3 of the map when I wanted to explore. This may make me reinstall the game!
This is only one of many changes coming to the game with the latest patch. This is the only game I have played nearly everyday since November last year. Veteran ranks are getting removed and replaced with champion points. But the biggest change and one that will help players who have already maxed out the level of one charcter is that if you create a new character and they reach level 50. Then they can use armour up to the higest level of your best character in your character slots. There are loads of other changes as well too many to list here it might be worth putting a link to the patch notes for the game. A lot more people should be playing this game the story content along with DLC is huge compared with any RPG.
Hmm not sure if I like the idea of level scaling everywhere. Some of the fun of leveling up in RPGS is coming back to areas where you struggled and now can dominate. Questing everywhere is a nice plus though.
