Acitivision has just announced a Call Of Duty XP event for fans in September, but more interestingly, a PlayStation VR experience for Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be playable at the event.
The blurb reads: "[Activities include an] immersive PlayStation VR Experience, where fans can feel what it's like to pilot a Jackal, the personal fighter jet in Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare." The event will also include the first look at Infinite Warfare's multiplayer, as well as hands-on time with Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for attendees.
Would you be interested in experiencing Call Of Duty in VR? Let us know in the comments below.
Update (17:45PM BST): Activision's told Eurogamer.net that the PlayStation VR experience is just a one-off for the Call of Duty XP event, and is not part of the game. Hmm.

Can't believe I didn't see something like this coming. Makes so much sense.
I have a feeling it will be a last minute gimmick which would be a shame because firstly, it sounds kinda cool and is what I'd like to try in VR and secondly, gimmicky add-ons are sure fire death for console add ons.
@Rudy_Manchego This sounds something like a tech demo they made and now are patching into Infinite Warfare.
Sounds like the future is almost here where we can lug around a portable console and a portable VR set, and yet retain graphical prowess and huge screen potential. Awesomeness!
Short answer, yes.
I think at this point Activision will try anything to get IW in the hands of CoD fans after all the negative feedback they have been getting for it. Tacking on a gimmicky add on is not the best idea though.
@bbq_boy If that's the future of gaming, count me out. Good thing I still have a few of my old consoles.
Damn...They got me for my money. I need to start a new checking account for VR expenses alone.

400 bucks so you can pilot one of the games vehicles, most likely in a restricted environment.....
Let me think about this one....
