The Elder Scrolls reveal a lot of things to those who dare to read them, but did they ever predict that Tamriel would be saved by hordes of heroes all mumbling "lol rekt" in unison? We doubt it, but that's what's going to happen when The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited's next update hits PlayStation 4.
Indeed, text chat is finally coming to the console version of the MMO, allowing easy communication between players. Text chat previously came very close to being implemented back when the title was in beta form on PS4, but the idea was scrapped at the last minute. Here's hoping that its arrival will prove to be painless when the patch launches on the 16th August.

Hardly anyone chats in the game unless its guild based so text chat will come in handy. I also think it will get spammed by people selling items outside of guilds or people wanting to recruit. Good that its coming though.
Could be good but will need to be properly policed. After playing Defiance for over a year, I found all too often text speech lead to too many insults involving racism, sexism and troll bullying. Good to give it a try though as it would be very handy.
Sony, please can I have some folders?
