Grrrl power

Hoooo, boy – is that the end of another week? It means that we're one step closer to E3, which is both terrifying and exciting all at the same time. Still, we should probably make the most of these final moments of quiet while we can, and what better way to enjoy the silence than with some games? Here's what we're playing right now.

I'm pretty addicted to Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's multiplayer at the moment, so I'll probably be playing that as I fill time ahead of my next big review objective. I'm also starting to get the urge to get back to The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, which I've almost finished now.

My gaming cup runeth over as this weekend, as not only will I be continuing my bloody romp through DOOM, but I'll also finally get my grubby mitts on Fire Emblem Fates, now that we Europeans have been deemed worthy enough to play it. All of this is for a greater cause, though, as it'll hopefully distract me enough to forget that Overwatch isn't out yet.

Having eventually found a little time to myself, I'll be playing Ni No Kuni this weekend. I've finally gotten round to playing it after being inspired by the announcement of Ni No Kuni II at last year's PSX, and I'm pretty close to the end of the game. I should be done with it by the end of Sunday, ready to dig into Uncharted 4. (Yes, I still haven't started it – shame on me!)

Although I feel all "DOOMed out" from reviewing that glorious, gory game this past week, I can't help but feel the urge to jump back in the campaign again on Nightmare mode and get some of the collectibles I missed in my first run. Either way, DOOM is on the list. However, my primary concerns are to play Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and hopefully beat Quantum Break as well, so we'll see how that goes.

After a crazy couple of weeks moving from one side of the country to the other, this weekend I'll finally be able to catch up a bit on some gaming. I finally finished Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, so I'll be tackling the multiplayer component now. I also just started up DOOM, which has been a blast so far and really refreshing to the FPS genre as of late.

Not much time for me this weekend, but I've got a FIFA 16 Pro Clubs session lined up for Saturday, so hopefully that'll unsour my bad mood from Wednesday's Europa League final. Other than that, I'll be playing plenty of Battlefront 2 on the PlayStation 2, since it's the equivalent of comfort food for me.

This weekend I'll be saving up my pennies in The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth's greed mode in the hope of filling the money machine and unlocking an awesome secret. Let's hope that my greediness in game isn't reflected IRL.

I'll have limited time for gaming this weekend, so short bursts of Rocket League and Uncharted 4's multiplayer will be my main sources of PS4 goodness. There's also the small matter of God of War: Ghost of Sparta, which I've downloaded from PlayStation Plus but have yet to begin. It's the only God of War that I haven't played, and my Vita has been gathering dust lately, so I'm very much looking forward to getting my Greek on.

For me this weekend will be full with Call of Duty: Black Ops III Double Weapon XP and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. I'm also looking to start Life Is Strange.
