In case you missed all the chest-thumping on social media, the 2016 BAFTA Game Awards were held earlier tonight. Fallout 4, Bethesda's latest open world blockbuster, staggered out of the nuclear haze clutching the show's most prestigious award - probably much to the disappointment of editor Sammy Barker, who'll no doubt by rummaging into the comments section to complain very soon.

Fallout 4 pushed aside The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Rocket League, Life Is Strange, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture to get its hands on the Best Game award. The Chinese Room's eerie walk-'em-up didn't stroll away empty handed, however, as it snagged best Audio and best Music

Elsewhere, PlayStation 4 exclusive Bloodborne deservedly took away the award for best Game Design, Rocket League scored best Multiplayer, best Sports, and best Family game, and Life Is Strange managed to nab best Story. Until Dawn, meanwhile, was crowned best Original Property, but lost to Batman: Arkham Knight when it came to best British Game award. Oh, and SMITE master/resident reviewer Alex Stinton will be happy to know that his favourite MOBA emerged with the awkwardly named AMD eSports Audience Award.

So, do you agree with these winners? Tell us how you'd have done things better in the comments section below.
