People want Silent Hills really bad. There's zero chance of that ever happening now that Hideo Kojima has left Konami, of course, but there's hope that the project could live on in spirit β perhaps as part of the auteur's inaugural PlayStation 4 exclusive. And to help encourage that to happen, a talented group of film makers have created a short movie based upon the infamous demo.
This is actually really well done. Yes, it's all a bit low-budget and the corridor's not quite accurate, but it makes for intense viewing β just as the demo itself did a few years ago. Give the clip a watch below, and then try not to look in the sink in the comments section. Seriously, don't look in the sink β there are horrid things in there.

I need to use the bathroom now.
@Rudy_Manchego This is one occasion where we won't insist you wash your hands. DON'T LOOK IN THE SINK!
Scr*w this! I stopped watching after the first jumpscare, and I flipping knew it was coming too! Can you imagine these sort of things in VR?? I think people, including myself, will have actual heart attacks.
@Boerewors Yeah, agreed. I love my horror games, but I'm starting debate whether I'll be able to play them in VR, too.
@get2sammyb
I never experienced any problems till PT; I played it the moment it was available in dark room that was only lit by the screen and with my headset on... It somehow changed something in me. I'm a grown ass man, but I can't take horror anymore because I'm afraid PT will happen again, that litteraly was the most horrifying gaming experience in my life and I can't recall ever being that unsettled by a movie either. PT was a true gem, but for the first time in my life I was so sucked into a game that I believed it was me walking that corridor.
So VR is totally out of the question because if PT would've been a VR experience, I would've either smashed a $399 - $599 piece of hardware against the wall, or died right there on the spot.
This is genius hope kojima makes a similar game to sh
You know that guy who always have too many drinks at parties? Once he's asleep, tie his wrists behind his back and put VR goggles on him. Load P.T., press start and enjoy!
@get2sammyb. Ha ha not an issue, I never made it to the bathroom.
I could not handle this in VR. If I had played PT in VR I would currently be lying comatose on the floor and dribbling from all available outlets.
I like horror but no way would I stay sane with it in VR.
it was awesome hopefully kojima new game is a horror game
