@WanderingBullet Because they'd rather play indie walking simulator 1.5 than actual good, GOTM worthy games like Digimon and Naruto. Ahem.

I have to give the Japanese RPG's credit: they know how to tell a damn good story most of the time. Compared to the garbage plots western devs plop out. eg: Tales Of Zestiria had me a million times more invested because of its great characters & story, compared to say the garbage that is Fallout 4

I dunno about all this, but I decided to buy Nobunaga's Ambition Sphere of Influence last sunday, and boy was that a great purchase.

That gets my playstation game of March 2016 award, screw the fact that the game was released last year.
