Popular testi-kill series Sniper Elite will be bringing its brand of ball bursting action to the PlayStation 4 for a second time this year, as elite marksman Karl Fairburne returns to the trenches yet again. Sniper Elite 4 has been announced for Sony's new-gen system, and this time it will find you vanquishing fascism amid the chirpy intonations of the Italian Resistance.
According to the press release, seasoned developer Rebellion's aiming to offer the ultimate World War II experience, where it plans to whisk you "from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns to colossal Nazi megastructures, daunting forests, and giddying mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino". Free from the shackles of last-gen hardware, the British-based studio's promising levels many times bigger than in its predecessor, as well as campaign, co-op, and competitive multiplayer modes.
