Sniper Elite 4 Targets the Most Gruesome Low Blow on PS4 Yet

Popular testi-kill series Sniper Elite will be bringing its brand of ball bursting action to the PlayStation 4 for a second time this year, as elite marksman Karl Fairburne returns to the trenches yet again. Sniper Elite 4 has been announced for Sony's new-gen system, and this time it will find you vanquishing fascism amid the chirpy intonations of the Italian Resistance.

According to the press release, seasoned developer Rebellion's aiming to offer the ultimate World War II experience, where it plans to whisk you "from sun-drenched Mediterranean coastal towns to colossal Nazi megastructures, daunting forests, and giddying mountain monasteries inspired by Monte Cassino". Free from the shackles of last-gen hardware, the British-based studio's promising levels many times bigger than in its predecessor, as well as campaign, co-op, and competitive multiplayer modes.

I got the last one in a flash sale on PSN for £6 so once I have tried that will give this a go

Meh, I prefer sniper ghost warrior although I probably wouldn't pick that up either. I'd prefer an extremely tactical long drawn out sniper vs snipers and sniper makes a nest and counts up the kills over several hours. Probably wouldn't appeal to most though. As far as I've seen the sniper elite games are more like commando elite than proper sniper tactics.

Happy to see that they go for unusual ww2 theaters. After the north african campaing against afrikakorps they go for this one in my country during the civil war. It is weird for me (as italian) to listen people talking italian in soldier uniforms in videogames, our history of that time has never been considered too much in the Medias.
