PS4 PlayStation 4 Firmware Update 3.50

Sony detailed PlayStation 4 firmware update v3.50 this week, revealing its codename – Musashi, for those curious – and the list of features that it will introduce. Chief among them is the ability to turn on friend notifications and appear offline – but it also includes improved party functionality, better event scheduling, support for Remote Play on both the PC and Mac, and the option to livestream to Daily Motion.

Ignoring the latter, it's a strong list of oft-requested features – but we can't shake the feeling that it hasn't exactly been worth the wait. Don't get us wrong, these are all welcome additions – but previous high-profile PS4 firmware updates have launched with headline features like Communities, and there's nothing on that level in system software v3.50. The question is, then: are you satisfied with the features that the platform holder's pledging?

With beta codes set to deploy later today, we want to see your snap reaction to this upcoming update. Fill in our swift survey, and then share your thoughts in the comments section below.
