It was the big closing announcement at PlayStation Experience late last year, but what is Paragon? We've been playing Epic Games' ambitious PlayStation 4 MOBA since its Early Access-esque release on Friday, and figured we'd stream some gameplay live. Don't worry if you can't watch this now, as you'll find the archived video embedded above.

Apologies for the premature end to the stream Paragon decided to crash. That's early access for you.
Looks pretty good. Cautiously optimistic and now I kinda see why they ended PSX with this. It might turn out to be a big deal.
The movement speed might be a deal breaker. What were they thinking?
I thought the game looked good. I did not have a big issue with the movement speed of the character it all depends on what games you are comparing it too. But it would not put me off playing the game. I also do not mind paying for early access to the game all your progress is saved and you are contributing towards the game developer. The graphics did stand out as being very decent as well. Its good times for the PS4 no MOBA's and now Smite and Paragon. Cross play is a nice feature.
@alexstinton are you streaming the Doom beta? I would tune in for that. I would donate my code if you want to stream it?
The movement animation looks so stiff and awkward. Hopefully they sort that out.
Ultimately, I think Overwatch is going to overshadow this enormously. It's not a MOBA but it's very MOBA-like and has a lot more going for it than this appears to.
I bought a Founders pack to play this. It only has one map and one mode at the moment but it's still fun to play. The current 13 characters have enough variety to keep me playing the game. Match options are PVP, COOP Vs AI, Solo Vs AI.
Looks good. When does it release as a free game?
@themcnoisy Does that mean you haven't been watching our other streams?!? I'm hurt and disappointed.
No plans to stream the Doom Beta I'm afraid. It might be under an NDA anyway, which means we wouldn't be able to stream without getting @get2sammyb into trouble.
@XurAgentofthe9 It will be out as a free to play title sometime in the Summer. There's no confirmed date right now.
@AlexStinton of course I've tuned in. Smite last week and I retrospectively tuned into trackmania last night.
@themcnoisy I knew I could count on you.
@AlexStinton Thanks. The model is an interesting one; as players can play for free in perpetuity? SMITE for example, I have been playing the beta, and it seems that you don't need anything like 70+ gods to have all the bases covered, I have 11 so far including the starter ones, and seem able to cope ok. I suppose the idea is that players get bored with the same dozen gods and either stop playing or buy the pack. I wonder how this will work out for Hi-Rez?
@Splat @Grawlog I've never played MOBAs before but the speed seems alright to me. Why do you guys say that the movements are slow in this game?
@WanderingBullet I think people are expecting it to be a bit more "action" game like. I played it quite a bit this weekend. It could move a tad faster but it's not a deal breaker by any means.
@Dreamcaster-X Ah, I see. I was thinking they meant the game was slow for MOBA standards.
