Nom nom

Despite being the weekend, your humble host has a lot to do today, so consider this edition of WAYP hastily assembled like a ploughman's sandwich without any lettuce or tomato – or pickle, for that matter. What are we even talking about? Dunno, filling space out, innit. That might be enough? Yes, it's enough.

My review duties have escalated all of a sudden, but I only have myself to blame. Two of the games that I've been assigned are about as entertaining as an enema, so I've been a bit lazy these past two days. Hence the mad rush to get them finished…

It's time to visit those bloody Crones of Crookback Bog in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Although I've reached this pivotal plot point fairly quickly, it's safe to say that even on New Game Plus, Geralt's gruesome adventure still takes ages to get through. Will I be able to beat the game again before Blood and Wine launches? I'm slowly beginning to doubt it.

My plan for this weekend involves diving back into the wasteland in Fallout 4 and attempting to rid it of some of the vermin that I missed last year. I'll also be patiently waiting for The Witness to release.

This weekend, I'll be continuing to work my way through Rebel Galaxy for review. Having already put over 20 hours into this space trading and combat game with no end in sight, I'll have to put any other gaming plans on hold. It's a hard life.

I still haven't downloaded January 2016's PlayStation Plus games, so perhaps I'll add the Vita title Nihilumbra to my overflowing and often under-appreciated Instant Game Collection.

I've made good progress in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain so far and plan to keep bringing the legend back to life this weekend. Thankfully this massive snowstorm that has hit the Eastern side of the United States will give me more time to do that!

While a winter storm is headed this way, I'm planning to spend some more time playing Dead or Alive 5: Last Round, Just Cause 3, Rocket League, and maybe some Metro Redux. If I'm feeling nostalgic, I may pop on Grand Theft Auto III on the PS4.

This weekend I'll foray into the stunning worlds of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, as I've finally cleared my Christmas backlog. I'll also be going back to Just Cause 3 for a bit, because my thirst for chaos can never be quenched, and I'll fit in some FIFA 16 career mode, in which I'll give Joe Allen a £100,000 a week contract for being our Lord and saviour.

I have finally picked up Push Square's GOTY for 2015, Bloodborne, and so I will be spending the entire weekend cursing my inadequate gaming skills. Other than that I may play a few matches of Rocket League, so give me a shout if you want someone easy to beat.

It's that time of the week again already? Wow, time flies. So this weekend among some more Call of Duty: Black Ops III multiplayer, I plan on getting into Transformers Devastation, which I started a few days ago and have been wanting to get back to.
