OlliOlli maker Roll7's been working on Not a Hero since skateboarding was cool, so it's nice to see the side-scrolling Vanquish finally get a PlayStation 4 release date. The title will deploy on 2nd February, where an anthropomorphic rabbit – yeah, we're not so keen on that bit – will task you with cleansing the world of organised crime.
Ignore the oh-so-random-it's-really-funny-honest premise and there's a great game here: the controls are tighter than a politician's public spending and it's got that immediate gratification that made OlliOlli and its sequel such a slam dunk in a world where Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 unfortunately exists. It does use pixel art, though – sorry, indie detractors.

Been looking forward to this for a while! Loved the OlliOlli games and can't wait to get stuck into this.

the brutality and animations are great!
Worth noting that it seems the Vita version has been cancelled.
