Good news: this game still exists

Expect aliens, dialogue wheels, and interspecies bonking fairly soon, as Mass Effect Andromeda is travelling at the speed of light to a PlayStation 4 near you. EA has confirmed as part of its dreadfully dull investor's meeting that the space-based role-playing game is just one mass relay away from entering your machine – or, to put that in human terms, it will definitely release between April 2016 and March 2017. Well, unless it gets delayed, of course.

But we don't want to even entertain that possibility, because we're ready to track down some intergalactic lost property while the Reapers gobble up the globe all over again. Bizarrely, developer BioWare has spent more time teasing this title on Twitter than it has actually, y'know, showing us it. In fact, editor Robert Ramsey is so aggrieved by this that he's dismantled his Liara doll and stopped trying to impersonate Garrus.

That's a sure sign that the Canadian company's got some serious fan smooching to do at E3… Er, we mean EA Play.
