The Yakuza franchise has always been huge in its native Japan, so it's no real surprise to find that Yakuza: Kiwami - a remake of the PlayStation 2 original - has smashed its way right to the top of the software charts. The re-imagining of Kazuma Kiryu's initial adventure racked up sales of 103,256 copies on PlayStation 4, and combined with the 60,427 copies that it sold on the PlayStation 3, total sales hit an impressive 163,683 units.
Sticking with new software releases, Just Cause 3 entered in fourth, selling through 33,660 copies, while Resident Evil Origins Collection shuffled into fifth. However, even with all of these new games, Sony's latest console struggled - PS4 sales actually declined by around 1000 units when compared to the week before. Not the best of signs, eh?

Too bad they didn't make a PS4 only game, with a custom console, it would of moved units in japan.
Resident Evil did worse than I was expecting. Yakuza really strong yet again, though. Fan base appears to be moving to PS4, too - Yakuza 6 will be a big hit.
Bloody heck! I didn't notice the Xbox One numbers!
Ps4 number are still pretty good. Been going great guns since the price drop. But 14k for the ps vita is disappointing.
@shogunRok where's the pstv numbers? Or is it discontinued?
