Yakuza is one of the few franchises that Push Square Towers collectively adores, so you're right to assume that we watched this 43 minute gameplay video from Yakuza 6 with our jaws agape. The game looks so bloody good – and according to creator Toshihiro Nagoshi, the PlayStation 4 exclusive is still a long way from being finished. Hnngh.
The demo comes free with copies of Yakuza Kiwami, and features a scenario that won't actually be included in the final release. Still, it manages to introduce a few familiar faces, including a grown-up Haruka, who, despite her more mature age, is still wearing her "iconic" grey hoodie and red tee combo. Buy her a new outfit, Kiryu!

If the West gets Yakuza Kiwami it'll probably wouldn't include Yakuza 6's demo.
@WanderingBullet I personally don't think we'll get Kiwami. As much as I want every Yakuza game out on these shores, I'd rather have Yakuza 6 after Yakuza Zero.
@get2sammyb Oh, I was thinking that they probably could reuse the English translation from the first game. As for Yakuza 6, I'm guessing it'll be a while before we'll see it.
I've only ever played number 3 and I really enjoyed it, even if I spent far too much time in the arcades. I guess it'll be a while before we see this and I'll be keeping an eye on it

The game looks and feels great, though I've only played 1/3 of Yakuza 4 on PS3 but I was enjoying it too much! Didn't finish because of the freaking hundreds of games I have in my backlog -.-
@get2sammyb but it'll make sense to release Yakuza Kiwami for people who are new to the franchise and want to start with the free game

Agree, 6 is the game I want after Zero but really it's a shame the series never did better in the West so we could've gotten all the games in a timely manner. But what can you do? Who wants a well-made complete game when you can just keep keep giving companies like Activision and EA more money for sh*t that should've been in games from day one. Pathetic.
One of my favourite game series without a doubt. Can't wait, really hope this makes it over - despite the ridiculous amount of time we'll no doubt have to wait...
I'v been playing Kiwami over the weekend and even as die hard fan of the series I think if it boiled down to it i'd rather see 6 over Kiwami release over here and say as Ps2 to Ps4 port of 1 and 2.
After playing tonnes of 0, Kiwami just feels very restricted and if i'm honest rough. The main story is shot for shot remake for the most part and as such so is Kamurocho so you don't get the rooftops, sewers, underground mall or naturally the building works up north. It's taken the combat from 0 which is great but in ways it seems like they actually stepped back in not only features but visuals.
