Sony debuted some new gameplay for the upcoming Ratchet & Clank game today at its PlayStation Experience Keynote. The clip shows off the title's opening section, and sees our two heroes meeting for the first time. It also gives us another glimpse of the shooter's graphics - mind-bogglingly impressive, as always - and the duo's upgraded arsenal.
What's more, the platform holder announced that the title will release on 12th April, just a few short weeks before the franchise sees its debut on the silver screen. Are you looking forward to this new Ratchet & Clank game? Let us know in the comments section below.

My copy is already secured, like a Ratchet&Clank fan I can't wait to play this new game.
Best part of the show. The Ratchet & Clank games were some of my favorite on PS2 and while I didn't find Tools of Destruction or A Crack in Time to be quite as good, they were still very high quality in their own right. Unfortunately the series took a turn for the worse after 2009 but it looks like 2016 will be a brilliant return to form.
Glad this game got some love at PSE. Easily my most anticipated game next year. Really hope this and the movie do really well.

I am glad I Pre-ordered this This and Uncharted and that HOB game were the only things that I liked really at the show + most of the Internet were wrong again about SONY announcing PS2 B/C on the PS4 on this PSX show.

This should really kick the ps4 into hyperspeed with sales it looks stunning literally stunning best looking game I have seen yet ! would love to know if its running full 1080p @60fps that would really put the icing on the cake !
