So, it turns out that Heihachi is such a pain in the arse that his wife has had to bring in Akuma to sort him out. That's right, the Street Fighter star is going to switch sides for Tekken 7, as a brand new trailer reveals.
Sporting all of his trademark techniques, this no-nonsense ruffian is bound to be an interesting addition to the title's character roster - even if it is really weird to see him performing sidesteps. Oh, and Tekken 7 now has an official subtitle: Fated Retributions. Sounds pretty serious.

Bleh, I really don't like Street Fighter so I'd prefer not having to see it's characters sully the greatness that is Tekken.

Sony more or less has the whole fighting genre locked down with exclusives......Tekken 7, The King of Fighters 14, Street Fighter 5, anything by Arc Systems.

No, it's Tekken 7, with Akuma.....for all we know, this may be the evolution of the Tekken X SF deal......... IE, Tekken 7 with a few Street Fighter characters thrown into it. If I'm not mistaken, Tekken 7 is already out in Japanese arcades, just waiting for the console port.
That being said, Tekken X Street Fighter may still be it's own thing, but I doubt Capcom or Namco would want to canbalize Street Fighter V or Tekken 7 sales, so, maybe 2017 or 2018?
I'm curious about how he'll play in Tekken's button format.

Hmm, did Namco come out and name the Xbox One officially? I don't doubt it, and I can understand if they are being quiet about it given some marketing deal with Sony......I thought it was an exclusive though.
If Namco brings Akuma into Tekken 7, then Tekken 8 will include these new character: Ryu and Ken ?
Now just waiting for them to bring over a character from Blazblue and Dead or Alive, lol. Doooo it.
@Kage_88 by exclusive I'm sure the intent was that Akuma would be the exclusive. Although I also don't recall seeing this as coming to XBOne.

@sub12 I don't think Namco said anything about Tekken 7 being exclusive, and Killer Instinct isn't that bad. Don't knock it until you try it.
